The Belles 'n Whistles Guest DT Call...

is now officially closed, at least for another 3 months or so. Thank you sooo much to all who have participated in this exciting challenge! There are too many gorgeously talented card/craft artists represented here--it will be an extremely difficult decision! And because it will be so difficult, I will leave it up to my DT to decide for me! Over the next week or so, the Roses on Paper DT will be reviewing all applicants to be sure requirements were fulfilled and then will collaborate to select the 3 who will join us for our 2 month Guest DT spots beginning in August! I will announce the names of the chosen 3 on this blog on July 9th, so do check back now!

A Gate Card including Stitching!

For this challenge, DT member Jodi would like you to create a Gate Card incorporating stitching somewhere on the card. Break out the sewing machine, get your needle and thread ready for a few hand-stitches, do some faux stitching with your pens or use any stitch rub-ons you may have laying around...it's really not that difficult to include stitches! ;D

**Please don't forget, this project must be created using a Magnolia, Alota, Sarah Kay, Rachelle Anne Miller OR a Greeting Farm stamp in order to qualify!**

Wow! What a nice turn-out for this challenge! We had so many wonderful entries, I'm glad the drawing is done randomly--it would be too difficult to choose! I am sorry to say that I could not count any duplicate/second entries (though I did count the firsts) and I was unable to count those last entires that missed the June 30th deadline...very sorry! Roses on Paper is proud to present to you it's new division, Belles 'n Whistles! Visit the Belles 'n Whistles Blog to learn more about this exciting store! I will be seeking to add a few guest members to this fabulous new store's Design Team. There are three positions that will be up for grabs, open to crafters worldwide! During the 2 month position, you will be expected to create a card or other craft project using the stamps I send and post the photo(s) on your blog.

Conditions of Application:

If you are interested in applying for a Guest DT spot on the new Belles 'n Whistles team, the following are the requirements:

~you must have a blog yourself
~you must be a follower of this ROP challenge blog
~you must participate or have participated in at least one of the bi-monthly challenges on this ROP challenge blog

If you have not yet participated in a ROP challenge, do not fret…there's still plenty of time! Guest DT members will be selected the first week of July though the 2 month term will begin at or around August 1st.

Challenge 14 - Combine Challenges, add Flowers!

A Combined Challenge, Incorporating Flowers!

For this challenge, DT member Rosette is asking you to seek out and participate in another blog's challenge AND be sure to incorporate FLOWERS as part of our own challenge's requirement! Huh? Not sure you got it right?! One more time:

• Find another challenge to participate in, one that is running between now and 6/29--if you are unsure of other blogs that host challenges, take a look at the blogs of the DT members for links (Friday Sketchers, Just Magnolia, Spoonful of Sugar, etc...)
• Create your card as specified in that blog's challenge AND be sure to use FLOWERS as well, whether it be the DP, or actual Prima flowers, etc...
• ENTER that challenge AND ours, linking the card to both challenge blogs

When you're through, you've got not only got 2 chances to win (one on our blog, one on theirs), but you've also fulfilled the Guest DT Call's requirement of participating in at least one of our challenges, if you haven't already! Talk about killing 2 or 3 birds with one stone, LOL!
